In Memory |
|
This
page is dedicated to the loving memory of those who
lost their lives while waiting to be saved, as well
as beloved pets who lived out their lives in the
loving arms of their families. We also honor
rescuers and other animal people who devoted their
lives to helping animals. |

~ In
Memory of Betty ~
Betty, I miss you everyday and not one day goes by that
I do not think about you. You had a tough life and I still
get sick to my stomach when I think about you being dumped
at a kill shelter when you were a senior, deaf, and blind.
This was the time you needed someone the most. Despite all
this there was not a mean bone in your body. I wish I could
of done more for you and I wish you had a better life than
the one you were dealt. I hope you are at peace now and I
hope the time you spent with me, though it was short, was a
happy time.
Your
Mom,
Marissa |

~ In Memory of the Golden Girls, Callie & Chiffon ~
They say memories are golden,
Well maybe that is true,
I never wanted memories, I only wanted you.
In life I loved you dearly,
In death I love you still,
In my heart you hold a place, no one will ever fill.

You blew into our lives,
Strong and beautiful
Playfully regal
And quietly trusting
We ran the roads, together
You were so dear to me
I never imagined a time
When you would not be
By my side
I tried not to think ahead
To the time that I
Might lose you
To the time that I
Might have to live without you
But, as time moves by quickly
So did your life
|
|
There are so
many things
I could say
But, it would not bring you
back to us
It would not erase your death
It would not ease the pain
Of the loss I feel
When I think of you, my friend
So, I’ll just say that I have never Gotten
over
Losing you, dear Grizz
And I wanted to tell you again
That ‘I Love You’
Love, your human mom, Cathy |
